A while back, I mentioned possibly creating a directory so it’s easier to find film-related posts. I know it’s been a while and I don’t know if anyone still visits here, but I was finally able to put together Xavier’s films screencaps, stills, clips, etc. into one place. Sorry, but I think I’ve got just about enough screencap requests to fill up the rest of FYXS’ run. If you absolutely can’t stand not to have the screencap of your choosing, you have one hour left to write in before I quit taking requests. The film screencap requests have been pretty light thus far, so why not extend the deadline? I’m not gonna set a time for the extension. How about, as planned, I’ll just give y’all an hour warning before the cut off? If you’re interested, read about it here. If not, I hope you’re at least enjoying the ones that have been requested. :)

Hey guys,

I know this may seem sudden and I’m truly sorry, but I think it’s time for me to be done here. I don’t have a good explanation, not one that I can share, anyway. Other than my health and well-being need to come first, and that’s something I’ve been denying for a while now. I love both my Fuck Yeahs and those of you that have been involved more than I can express, but the real world is kicking my ass. And I have to face that.

This is not an easy decision - it’s kinda breaking my heart, actually. For a year and five months, these blogs have been my babies, and I’ve loved every second of it. All good things have to come to an end, though, right? So here it is.

I’m still a huge fan and supporter of the Samuel brothers, I always will be. Rest assured, that’ll never change. I’ll still wait eagerly for the films that have yet to come. I’ll still check for new pictures and projects. I’ll still read every article about their careers and how well they’re doing. I’ll still watch my DVDs, though probably still a bit too often. And for a little while, I’ll probably do those things with a bit of a heavy heart because it’ll remind me of what I needed to let go. Then again, Xavier and Benedict have always brought a smile to my face, even in the worst of times, so I’m sure the sadness will pass quickly. Sincerely, I wish them both all the best, personally and professionally.

I had a draft pile built up (quite a lot, including screencaps, of course), so I’m just gonna add everything to the queue and when it runs out, it runs out.

For you guys that have Tumblrs, this probably isn’t news. But I know some of y’all just check the site, so I wanted to tell everyone it looks like Tumblr’s gonna be down tomorrow. This is part of the explanation:

“We are now ready to complete the last major step in upgrading our infrastructure. Unfortunately, it has one very uncomfortable side-effect: all traffic to blogs and the Dashboard will be suspended during the operation — returning a simple “we’ll be right back” message.

We are preparing for any issues that may arise and want you to expect your blogs to be unavailable starting at 4:00am EDT this Saturday (Oct 6th), and to come back online slowly over the next few hours.”

Until they get it up and running, my hands are tied. So don’t be alarmed, everything should get back to normal soon, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Alright y’all, bad news time: it is extremely likely that I’ll lose Internet access in the very near future. Not permanently (sigh of relief from me, at least), but for an uncertain amount of time. It could be hours, could be days - no one knows. This is brought on by circumstances that’re out of my hands, so please, please be patient and know if there’s any way I can update if need be, I’ll do so as soon as I can. The queue is all prepared and ready to go, so thanks, wish me luck, and enjoy your regularly scheduled Xavier-ness. :)

This is random, but I just couldn’t stop myself (much like the time I couldn’t contain my excitement over the Anonymous hair). So, you’ve been warned.

Now, maybe some of you guys know this (if you’ve been around for a while and read some of my rare commentary that occasionally addressed this matter [Newcastle and Number 2]) and I’m sure a lot of you don’t (if you’re newer here or don’t like reading my opinions - which is totally fine, but then again, you probably won’t read this either, so …):

I have an extreme fondness for Xavier Samuel’s collarbones. It’s weird, I know. So much so, I just recently found myself having a discussion about my oddity with my sister, who’s a pretty standard, run-of-the-mill appreciator of man-ass.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I don’t like asses, or broad shoulders, or legs, or whatever other, more traditional pieces of anatomy that women are so inclined to fawn over on a guy’s frame - I do. It’s just, these particular clavicles are flawless specimens of sculpted perfection.

Fortunately, while looking through my Drowning screencaps for Anon, I came across this pic. It should explain everything I can’t about my strange sentiment. So, please, join me in the visual celebration I’ve just dubbed “collarbone porn.”

Unfortunately, I’m gonna be away from FYXS again. Only, this time it’ll be about two weeks before I’ll be back. As always, I’ve set up the queue so no scheduled Xavier should be missed (as long as it works properly - so fingers crossed, cause not being able to check up makes me super nervous). And as usual, if news, pics, or anything of importance are released while I’m gone, I’ll post it all as soon as I can. Please, please be patient and know everything will be back to normal by the 20th (at the latest). Thanks very much!

Today is my sister’s birthday, so I wanted to celebrate by paying homage to her favorite Xavier attributes (physically speaking, of course): his ass and thighs. 

So, all that’s left to say is HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (just for good measure)!!!
