If you’ll be in or around the Hamptons on October 6th or 7th, you can buy tickets to either two screenings of Drift at the 2012 Hamptons International Film Festival.

Xavier’s Drift co-star Lesley-Ann Brandt will be representing the film at this year’s Hampton’s Film Festival:

Lesley-Ann will be attending the Hampton’s Film Festival from Oct 4th-8th along with her Drift directors and producer Morgan O’Neil, Ben Nott and Tim Duffy. Drift has recently acquired it’s American distributor Wrekin Hill Entertainment and is slated for release in the US and Australia in Feb/March 2013. The film will have a worldwide theatrical release in Europe, Asia and South Africa, details of these dates are yet to be released. Drift stars Sam Worthington, Xavier Samuel, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Myles Pollard, Robyn Malcolm and Aaron Glenane.

Anonymous asked: Is xavier on twitter of facebook or anything that you know of? Like the actual xavier?

Here’s the deal: I am fairly confident Xavier doesn’t have a public website, Twitter, or Facebook that he runs himself. Obviously, it is possible he has a Twitter or Facebook that isn’t public but, really, we’ll never know that if he doesn’t want us to. I have seen quite a few fakes, though, but thus far, they seem pretty easy to spot.

Take for instance, this Twitter (no offense to said Twitterer - this is simply my opinion and the reasoning for my opinion; feel free to think differently than I). I have a tendency not to believe this particular “Xavier” because of this post. Does that look like an Anonymous picture? Or does it look like a Drift picture (not to mention the fact that the girl in the photo is also his costar Lesley-Ann Brandt from Drift - and a pic she had posted about a month before)? And I am positive the actual Xavier would know the difference. But, hey, like I said - it’s simply my observation.

Lesley-Ann Brandt provided a mention of Drift news yesterday:
