It’s an action thriller recalling the glory days of Australia’s B movie industry of the 1980s. Genre director Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, Razorback) penned the script and acted as mentor to [Kimble Rendall], who is making his debut after working as a second unit director on action blockbusters including I, Robot and The Matrix Revolutions. 

- We say:

An audacious premise and some decent talent behind the camera could add up to an enjoyable if disposable action movie that’s big by local standards. Think Deep Blue Sea kind of good, rather than Jaws good however.

The fact the film somehow made it into official selection at the Venice Film Festival (admittedly, out of competition) bodes well.
